Marisa González made this portrait series with the photo-video
-computer Lumena that was a gift to her by Sonia Sheridan in order to
show this graphic system in Europe.
This versatile system of capturing digital images in real time, is a different
way of approaching to generated, serialized, and metamorphoses images.
This digital portrait series were made at her studio, during several years
that she was taking pictures to her artist friends, art critics and people
from the art world as the artist Pedro Garhel, the art critic Jose Ramón
Danvila, and Rodolfo Charria . They all participated and experimented
with her with this new digital language. The three of them unfortunately
passed away, but they are always present in this work.
